Press Center

To the right side of the erdgas arena is it’s press center. With two conference rooms and four offices this multistory building offers enough space to present your event to the public in an appropriate style.

first floor:         conference room (66 square meters), capacity of 40 people,
                       office rooms

second floor:    conference room (58 square meters), two more office rooms

Office Complex
In the addition off the erdgas arena there is an office complex housing offices and changing/set up rooms for the artists that offer an appropriate comfortable working climate to all.

WM-Sporthalle (gymnasium)
As the WM-Sporthalle (gymnasium) is directly attached to the erdgas arena it can be utilized for a training, warm-up, or back-stage area. Changing rooms, as well as lavatories, are plentiful.

Technical Data:

Size

- With a size of 8612 square meters the erdgas arena is one of the largest multi-purpose arenas in Saxony.

- It is easily down-sizable to accommodate smaller productions, down to 1/3 of capacity with seats for 1500-2000 spectators.

- Generous storage area is provided back stage.

Beam-contructions and rigging

- In sections of 3m x 6m there are possibilities for rigging throughout the arena,
each capable of bearing 2 tons/knot.

Stage

- Comprised of 300 stage pedestal sections (approximately 2m x 1m) equaling
approx. 600 square meters the stage is configurable to various shapes, sizes,
and heights (max. height is approx. 1,6m).

- All pedestals are useable indoor/ outdoor

Power Supply

- Distribution throughout the arena: 3600 amperes, 380 volts, and 3 phases
(electrical schematics and power distribution information is available)

Floor

- Dimensions – 112m x 65m

- Loading capacity – 190 KN per square meter
